Purity and Modesty || Writing Challenge || Day 17

The topic of purity and modesty are often put to the side when it comes to believers ministering to others.
Why is this? Just as God commands us to not bare false witness (Ephesians 4:25; Exodus 20:16), to have a meek and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4;Matthew 5:5) and to love one another (Romans 12:10; John 13:34), He also tells us to have a pure heart (Psalm 119:9; Matthew 5:8) and to adorn ourselves with modest apparel (1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Timothy 2:9-10; 1 Peter 3:3-4; Proverbs 31:30). 

Here is my abbreviated opinion... :

If you feel as if your thoughts and actions are not pure and that you feel like you need to hide those thoughts and actions, you are probably not seeking out Gods intent for your heart and mind. 
When we are wholeheartedly seeking to do what is right, wholeheartedly wanting to be like Jesus, we take lots of steps back from the "worlds" ways and attempt to be more Christ-like.  Doing so, Jesus will help you discern purity from impurity. Ask Him to help you! The most important thing is that you seek Christ in every aspect of your life. Let Him be your "go-to-person".

Scripture doesn't give us a clear guideline on how we ought to dress, however, it does tell us that our adornment should glorify Jesus and reflect His good character. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God". Whatever you do, meaning, some...no...whatever you do!  The way we dress is categorized in "whatever".  Therefor, dress in adornment that you feel the Lord is more than satisfied with...
